Clinical Supervision
I have experience supervising therapists in community mental health and residential/wilderness settings. Clinical supervision is an integral part of any clinician's professional development and focuses on the direction of therapy and the therapeutic relationship; to promote the professional development of the supervisee; to enhance the supervisee’s safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship; and to safeguard client well-being. I am able to supervise those working with adolescent, adult and elderly clients.

CRPO MEMBERS -
I am not a member of the CRPO, however, I do meet the criteria set out by the CRPO.
I am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Work;
- 8 years post graduate clinical experience;
- Over 8,000 direct client contact hours.
I can provide a signed declaration that I understand CRPO’s definition of clinical supervision, clinical supervisor and the scope of practice of psychotherapy.
I can provide CRPO members a ‘supervision contract’ which meets the CRPO criteria. I also can provide the Clinical Supervision Attestation Form on an annual basis (as requested); and I can document and provide a record of supervision dates and hours.
